1. 23.What clothing will we need?

It depends on the season, of course.  You’re in the country, so casual is fine.  In the summer, shorts and tank tops are alright within the castle walls, but local folk don’t usually dress that way in towns. Even summer evenings can turn cool and many restaurants have pleasant outdoor tables, so it’s a good idea to carry a sweater or wrap just in case.

When you’re touring, remember that some of the historic churches still frown on “immodest” clothing.

Dinners in the country call for slacks and a shirt for men. In warm weather, women often wear a dress or skirt. In cities like Perugia, Florence, and Rome, some of the better restaurants appreciate a bit more dress-up – perhaps a jacket for men, but rarely a tie.
